• One spring and one fall course are planned each year  with a capacity of 16 people.

• Exam: Learning success check at the end of the course

The courses correspond to the qualification "Functional training for specialist planner LST - basics of control and
safety technology (Td0563) and functional training for specialist planner LST - designing LST systems (Td0564)"

• Prerequisites for participation are basic knowledge of electrical engineering from the tertiary education sector, as well as previous knowledge in the field of railroad operations, such as that taught in the DB Training seminar "Fundamentals of Railway Operations"

• Teaching material: Will be provided in the form of teaching letters and teaching videos

• Instructional videos: Serve as supporting material

• A laptop or tablet with WLAN is required.                                          

• Numerous practicals and excursions take place outdoors or in the track area. Please bring weatherproof clothing suitable for the season and sturdy shoes. A DB warning vest is provided on loan.                                        

• Admission requirement for the final examination is a valid university entrance qualification. A high school diploma, college or university certificate or a current certificate of enrollment must be presented.
