The "International Conference on Diagnostics in Electrical Engineering" took place in Pilsen, Czech Republic, from September 4 to 7, 2018. The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences was represented by Prof. Kornhuber and Dr. Kittan from the Department of High Voltage Engineering / Materials / Theoretical Electrical Engineering. The scientists presented current project results on the diagnosis of power transformers.
The conference was attended by over 80 participants from various countries. This year's main topics included laboratory diagnostic methods, on-site testing of electrical equipment, properties of electrical insulation systems and structural changes, advanced diagnostic methods, theoretical methods and models, condition monitoring and electrical machines and equipment. In addition to the technical program, the conference was accompanied by an interesting cultural program and a lively scientific exchange.
The project "Condition assessment of power and distribution transformers in electrical power engineering (Smart Grid - Smart Monitoring)" is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the funding line Research at universities of applied sciences with companies (FHprofUnt) (SC03FH026PB5).
