In July, a delegation from the HSZG visited the Energy Institute to discuss future cooperation opportunities.
On July 4and 5, a delegation from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Wolfgang Kästner Institute for Process Engineering, Process Automation and Measurement Technology, Prof. Stefan Kornhuber Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Prof. Tino Schütte Faculty of Economics and Engineering, Prof. Uwe Schmidt Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) visited the Energy Institute in Moscow (Московский Энергетический Институт / МЭИ) with the aim of re-establishing long-standing contacts and, in particular, student and scientific exchange.

received. During the two-day discussions, the focus of education and research, possible cooperation opportunities and the next steps were discussed.
The MEI was founded in 1930 and received the status of a technical university in 2000. In particular, the connection to German universities and colleges has been successfully practiced for decades, so that this year the MPEI is celebrating the 50th anniversary year of the German-Russian relationship with various activities . The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences can also look back on an already successful cooperation with the Zittau University of Engineering and Zittau University of Technology, which is to be continued with various activities between the departments and faculties.
