International Laboratory Exchange Programme
The International Laboratory Exchange Programme (in German: Austauschpraktika) is implemented within the framework of co-operation in the EUROREGION NEISSE between the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG), and the Faculty of Mechatronics and Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies (FM) at the TU Liberec (TUL).
Programme content
Students from the TU Liberec spend one week in Zittau. They conduct experiments in the laboratories of the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz, tour a local company, make a sightseeing trip to Dresden and have a meeting with German students.
Students from Zittau attend a programme in Liberec organised on a similar basis with similar content.
The programmes are organised by academic staff from the field of Automation Technology (HSZG) and academic staff from the Department of Control Engineering (TUL). This form of co-operation has existed without interruption since 1976.
For the successful conducting of the experiments is given a certificate.
The language of communication during the programmes is English.
Programme objectives
The students will be given the opportunity to:
- deepen their professional knowledge and skills
- obtain new professional experience in the host country
- improve their knowledge of the English language
- establish new contacts with the professionals and students of the host country
- extend their appreciation of the culture and history of the host country
The Programme is in line with the long-term objectives of the EUROREGION NEISSE.
This International Laboratory Exchange Programme is supported by the DAAD and the small projects programme Phare CBC.
